༺ About The Author ༻
Lauren D. Fulter is a young American fiction author, publishing her first book at the age of sixteen. After learning the word ‘author’ at age five, she’s been captivated by the art of storytelling, and the little people roaming her mind. Though she longs for the cold, she lives in the desert with her large family, spending her days drawing, dabbling in the dimensions of the Fulterverse, and wearing sunglasses for unclarified reasons. |
༺ About The Fulterverse ༻
Starting with The Unanswered Questions, the Void is open and the possibilities are endless. All stories under the name of Lauren D. Fulter (and soon with the FV logo!) take place in the same expansive universe, from the Ancient Times where the supernatural was the normal on earth to 340 years after the infamous post-apocalyptic war. |

What is this?
An entire page of a website to talk about myself? No. I can’t do that.
Oh, you insist?
Well, only if you say so.
My name is(n’t) Lauren D. Fulter. Call me what you will (Fulter, ldf, D, Lauren ect.). I am an extremely normal human, who has an extremely normal life, with a very normal hobby of writing extensive novels that all take place in the same world.
It began with books (as all good stories do).
And book began at birth.
Yes, reader. I was born with a tiny little book in my hands.
No, I do not remember the book, as my youthful mind couldn’t comprehend the scribbles quite yet. I was just practicing. In the mean time, I made sure to obsess myself with stories, and fiction.
Make believe? Plays in the living room?
Yes. Give it all to me.
Of course at the young age, I dabbled in books, though since I was clueless to the words, I saw pictures. I learned the word “illustrator”, and I thought: Of course! This will be my life’s goal.
The kindergarten struck. Here I was, five years old, ready to head out into the world, and learn the skill all great people must learn one day. Reading.
And yes, reader. I did learn.
I also became obsessed.
I would rather read than anything. Especially more than math (no seriously, I got sent to the Principal’s office for refusing to do math).
I graduated from kindergarten, a brave adventurer, and with new ambitions.
I understood the words now. So my next step?
To conquer and create them.
I learned the word “author” and that was my new future occupation.
Now, I write books like it’s the new pandemic, and live in a house with my four siblings (very inspirational, depending), and my parental figures, a fat cat, a small bunny, and a dog that looks like a hairless rat in our house in the desert.
5 Fun Facts:
(1) I still draw, and have ambitions to illustrate (perhaps even a graphic novel one day).
(2) All of our family's pets have names of Percy Jackson characters (Piper, Leo, Grover, Percy Jackson)
(3) I think "The Inklings" are iconic and amazing
(4) Thomas Hobbes' idea of the state of nature has a bit of sense, and it depends on nurture v. nature
(5) I can telaport ( ;) )
