Lauren D. Fulter published her first book at age sixteen, but she's been writing her fictional friends ever since she could hold a crayon.
While her siblings say her entire personality is writing, she can also be found attempting to justify eating large amounts of cottage cheese, writing essays about Spiderman, and wearing sunglasses for unclarified reasons. She is a member of the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators (SCWBI). She also served as a staff writer for Purception Zine and currently works as a marketing assistant for Whimsical Publishing. She is attending university in the sunny state of California for a BA in Humanities with an emphasis in Creative Writing. Lauren D. Fulter is currently represented by A.J. Van Belle of The Booker Albert Literary Agency.

(1) Was nominated "most likely to forget to bring something to class" in 8th grade. (Yes, I have ADHD)
(2) Despite being an author, I technically am going to college at a film school. I almost went into producing and even created my own short film based on my book series! (You can check it out on YouTube!)
(3) I work as a barista to fuel my unquenchable desire for coffee. (I also used to work at Chick-Fil-A...though I didn't have quite the same desire for chicken)
(4) My favorite book series of all time is Artemis Fowl. I cannot get enough of that chaotic, 12-year-old criminal.
(5) One of my front teeth is fake. Can you guess which one?
