༺ About The Author ༻
Lauren D. Fulter published her first book at age sixteen, but she's been writing her fictional friends ever since she could hold a crayon.
While her siblings say her entire personality is writing, she can also be found attempting to animate, obsessing over Spiderman, and wearing sunglasses for unclarified reasons. She is a member of the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators (SCWBI), the Association of Writers and Writing Programs (AWP), and the Catholic Writer's Guild. She also serves as a staff writer for Purception Magazine. She is attending university in the sunny state of California for a BA in Humanities with an emphasis in Creative Writing. |
*:・゚ Five Fun Facts :・゚✧
(1) I grew up in the desert (and then moved to the beach), so I have *yet* to live in a cold climate, despite ALL my stories taking place in some sort of woods.
(2) Despite being an author through and through, I am interested in film. I've attended an LA film program, currently going to a film school, and produced my own short film based on Sergeant Hunter from the TUQ series!
(3) I've never traveled internationally, but if I could, I'd go to Scandinavia, specifically Norway and Sweden.
(4) I am a big advocate for hugs. If you ever meet me at an event, I will hug you (after asking, of course).
(5) I have a disorder called trichotillomania, which means I pull my hair out when I'm nervous (think Sophie Foster from Keepers of Lost Cities). It's improved over the years, but it's still a fun weird fact.
