The Place That Inspired My Book
Not to get ahead of myself, this place didn’t inspire my entire story (the true inspiration is something a bit more curious and strange), but one that inspired the setting. The Region among the 95 in the new world 300 years in the future, that just so happens to have the story set in.

You know your neighborhoods, your states, and countries. Wars that defined our borders. Movements that shaped our society. Voices that created rules. But an event in the near future comes and shatters that all. The Earth is no longer a place you know. It’s in flames, and it falls to dust. You can’t breathe. Land falls to the sea, and the small, helpless human race runs for cover.  |
